The Home Stretch

Hey everyone! Teenage gypsy here, hailing from my apartment, aka, seat on the bus. It's been a crazy couple of months. We've done more shows from January to now than we did in the fall. It's been a crazy time, but The Lord has sustained the team in amazing ways through it all. When I look back on the months since August, I'm in awe of what we've accomplished and the places we've seen. I can remember the people and venues by recalling the random and seemingly insignificant details. We've been to many major cities and have had the opportunity to see the sites... The arch in St. Louis, the bean in Chicago, the country music hall of fame in Nashville. I'm so blessed to be able to say that I've seen places that most people will never get to see.

About two weeks ago, I found out that I got accepted into college...College has always been my dream. I planned on going right away, but God had other things he wanted me to experience before I got there. With this news has come much joy... But also much sadness. I love what I do. I absolutely love it. I so enjoy this time in my life that I'm free to go and do whatever my heart desires. To leave is to leave behind a bunch of people that I've come to know and love as if they were family. Like most things in life, there are pros and cons to this decision. I know that I'll always look back on this and smile. If you were to ask me if I'd ever consider doing this again,I'd say yes without any hesitation. It's been amazing. The Lord has done great things in and through me while I've been here and I'm honestly just thankful for that. My prayer for these last 2 months and final 19 shows is that I'd enjoy every single day, every singe second because each one is a blessing that will someday only be a memory.
